Oakland Roots are now taking deposits of $5.10 from fans toward a Founders Cup Membership, in honor of Oakland and the 510 area code. Each membership package includes a ticket to all four home games, as well as exclusive access to member-specific events and merchandise.

All those who place a deposit for a Founders Cup Membership will automatically be placed into a drawing to win a free Roots home jersey. As well, those who place deposits will receive a 10% discount on their future Founders Cup Membership purchases, when they become available.

Oakland Roots open Founders Cup play on Saturday, August 24 on the road against ASC San Diego. Roots’ first home game (venue to be announced at a later date) will be one week later on Saturday, August 31 against Cal FC. The Roots will also be at home on Sunday, September 15 against FC Arizona; on Friday, September 27 against Napa Valley 1839 FC; and on Saturday, October 19 against ASC San Diego.  

The inaugural Founders Cup, a competition affiliated with the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL), will feature teams in two different conferences - the aforementioned clubs in the Western Conference, as well as Chattanooga FC, Detroit City FC, Miami FC, Miami United FC, Milwaukee Torrent, and New York Cosmos in the Eastern Conference.
